Taking off your pants for breast cancer

So, over the weekend was National No-Bra Day to bring awareness to breast cancer. It really got me thinking, and I couldn’t stop. I don’t have a huge platform, or a mega reach. At times, I’m not even sure if the universe (i.e. Internet) hears me, but I wanted to speak.

So, I made this vlog.

Um…

I’m not wearing pants.

And other stuff.

It’s way more tasteful than it sounds.

I think.

I’m so glad, since you were the inspiration behind me baring it all. Let that sink in for a moment. It’s way less creep than it sounds.

  2. You’re damn right. And damn naked. Ha!

  4. You crack me up! This is adorable and prompted me to do a lump check, boob grab, puppy squoosh, twin check, and a 36Long review.

  5. right on sister! I am SO sick of all the money spent on “awareness” and all the dumb games on Facebook that are so “secret” that they can’t possibly bring awareness to anything.

Also not a fan of walks and such that spend all the money on providing for the walkers, and little goes to actual research.

I prefer to focus on organizations who give close to 100% to actual research – there’s a group with a “Fund the Scientist” campaign that gives all the money raised to actual scientists to try and find environmental causes of breast cancer.

Also, I like to give money directly to those fighting for their lives, because $20,000 in medical bills is CRAP!

You know, I agree. Just giving directly to people can be better than giving to an organization for it to distribute.
