Publishing Opportunity

DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 31ST. THIS ANTHOLOGY IS SLATED FOR NEXT HALLOWEEN SEASON! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR SUBMITTING AND PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.

FYI, I’m looking for a few good writers.
I’m creating a horror story anthology and I need some short stories.

The turnaround is sharp, but if you’re interested, I’d love for you to submit.

“Tap into the fear that is trapped in those Appalachian hills, focusing more on the Pennsylvania/West Virginia area. You never know what you’ll find in the surrounding areas.”

I’m looking for horror and it’s different genres here. I want the stories to contrast greatly. The word count would be between 7k-15k. My plan is to have lucky number 13 stories.

It will pay $15 and you’ll have the option of buying extra copies at cost and selling it on your own. We would only retain rights for 6 months before they would revert back to you and you can publish it elsewhere.

It’s untitled as of yet.

It’ll print through my PenPaperPad imprint with Book Genesis designing it for us.
The due date for your short story is Oct. 18th. You can submit no more than 2. Please email submissions to penpaperpad78@gmail.com as a .doc attachment.

Let me know in the comments if anyone is interested.
Aloha y’all!

That sounds great. I have a 7K short story that I would like to submit. How do I submit it for consideration?

Hi, there. I may be interested. And is that 7k-15k for each story?

  3. That all sounds pretty freakin’ cool!
I don’t have a lot of time at the moment, but…I’m slowly getting into a writing routine again. 🙂

    Can’t wait to see this!
And good luck – I know this is going to be GREAT!
