New ebook calling for poetry submissions

A hillbilly learns to write more poetry and distribute it in interesting ways. It looks good on a resume and it’s a fun team-bulding exercise. And I do love to have a keepsake from good times. #writestuff has grown to be more than just a TweetChat. (You can learn about what a TweetChat is here, if you’re unfamiliar.) Jim Woods (no relation) runs  #writestuff and then started a group called Writer’s Unite. It’ becoming a support community for writer to share their ideas, highs n lows, fears and now their work. These have been the guiding forces in creating this ebook.

I’m submitting a poem to Writer’s Unite’s first ever poetry e-book. The deadline is Feb. 28th. You can enter a piece too. There’s still time!

The topic is love and relationships. Even if you’ve never been in love before, or you’ve always wondered what life would’ve been like for two fictional characters if it had played out in real life or you think love is a waste of time- whatever you feel. Write about it. Submit here. It’ll be a fun.  Just one entry per person so everyone has a chance to enter. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Aloha ya’ll

  1. Awesome! I’ve seen others submit and get accepted and it opened doors for them. I hope this does the same for you! 🙂

Thank you for the well wishes Terrye. Hopefully, my submission will get published, and new folks will see my work. It sometimes feels hard to get noticed out here in these interwebs.

  2. Cool! Sounds like fun and I think I might enter…not sure. We’ll see if I can scramble something together. LOL
