Music and its influence on me

While my guitar gently weeps
I’m very excited to be a part of a concert promoting legend’s blog tour. Pat DiCesare worked with a few folks you have heard of…oh ya know, The Rolling Stones, The friggin’ Beatles and many many more. I can’t wait to dive into the book. I have more to tell you about him, but I’m going to wait until I get to introduce you to Pat in the next couple of weeks for a bit of a giveaway. (I love finding opportunities to give y’all stuff!)

I’m adding to this tour by talking about a piece of my relationship with music. If it was a Facebook status it would say, “It’s Complicated.” In this post I talk about learning a bit of a family secret and how it’s shaped me as a writer. The post is called While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Please go check it out.

::side note:: Chapter Two for Just One Night is coming this weekend! Are you ready?::

I realized a few days ago that something was missing. I was playing music as often. I’ve started listening to my playlists again and it really does make me happier. The little things, ya know?
