Too blessed to stay stressed: Throwback Thursday

This week’s throwback, I thought we could take a look at stress and how to tamp it down. It’s coming straight out of 2012, which feels like so long about (but really isn’t, lol). I don’t know anyone who doesn’t have some type of stress that’s weighing them down and making life a little bit more difficult. So how can we level out and have a sense of calm?

 Writers definitely get stressed out. Have you seen a writer in the throes of writer’s block? Staring down the barrel of the bottom end of a deadline, and pulling out that word count from planet, “Holy crap, I’ve got nothing let to say?” Or how about when the writer gets the form letter rejection–via email nowadays so that soul crushing is just a click away–thanks Internets! Oh yeah, and I won’t even get started on the, “How can I stay true to my muse, even if she is a misery chick, and feed me and my cat?”

Definitely stressful business.

  1. Stress. Oh boy. Do we ever NOT have it? LOL
    Just wanted to stop in, say hello, say I miss you and it won’t be long now: 2.5 months until I can write freely again. Yippee! I might actually have a little time to get a blog post in this weekend…we’ll see. Haha.
