I have a need. A need…to read. I have been concentrating a lot on writing things, but you have to get your reading mojo going too. It’s helpful in getting new ideas, and reading well-written pieces helps to influence your writing as well. It’s a package deal. I am joining the Read-a-Thon through #boutofbooks. I pledge to read 125 pages per day. I remember the last read-a-thon I did. It was in elementary school. Every so many books you read, you got a certificate for free pan pizza from a local pizza a joint. Mom, why didn’t you get the pizzas? Why? *tear*
Ok, enough going down memory lane. See you guys soon. There’s another thing I’m trying out these days. Me and this blog are getting active in the blogosphere.
If you wanna know more about the read-a-thon, here’s some info that I copies and pasted. But you can also check out BoutofBooks blog.

Some frequently asked questions regarding participation and giveaways:
- I don’t want to participate in the giveaways/challenges/Twitter chats, can I still participate in the read-a-thon?
- YES! Like the About page states, all giveaways and challenges are optional. This is a read-a-thon. The only thing you actually need to do is read. As for Twitter, we understand that not everyone is a fan, and so it can – or cannot – be used however best works for YOU.
- Why aren’t there more international/CA giveaways?
- All giveaway and challenge hosts are volunteers, and they are almost always paying out of their own pocket. We try to make sure the majority of giveaways are open to our international participants, but sometimes it’s just not possible. A lot of it depends on who volunteers to host the giveaways and challenges.
